The GETS began operation in January 2023. In May 2025, Tyco concluded a WDNR-approved 2-year, short-term monitoring phase during which the collected data were used to track performance toward meeting the remedial goals. The data collected over this period have shown the GETS continually achieved its design objectives. Tyco also used the data to make adjustments and optimize system operation by adding more extraction wells to enhance system performance. Tyco just finished installation and connection of additional wells as part of the optimization process.
All activities and recommendations are reported to the WDNR. Tyco will continue to work with the WDNR under an approved long-term monitoring plan to track GETS progress while also continuing testing and reporting in accordance with our WPDES discharge permit. The system has successfully treated all water to date per the chart below.
We will continue to update the GETS dashboard with data on a regular basis.
