Groundwater Test Results Continue to Provide Further Guidance on Design of Permanent PFAS Source-Control Solution for Groundwater

The results of new groundwater tests reported to property owners and the WDNR today are consistent with the groundwater model we are using to design and install a permanent groundwater source-control system. The groundwater samples were taken in December in the area between the Fire Technology Center and Ditch B within the City of Marinette and, as expected, show elevated levels of PFAS.  The analysis included 36 PFAS analytes, as well as additional parameters, that will aid in the design of the planned Groundwater Extraction & Treatment System (GETS). Tyco is now finalizing the official plan for the GETS and will submit it to the WDNR for review on February 26.
