Residents will be offered deep wells.
A resident-driven effort to pursue annexation in one area of Tyco’s Potable Well Sampling Area (PWSA) in order to access municipal drinking water from the City of Marinette has concluded. Tyco was informed by the resident coordinating the annexation petition that not enough signatures were obtained in the designated area by the legal deadline to meet the legal requirements for submitting the annexation petition to the City of Marinette.
Since 68 properties in the PWSA are no longer being considered for annexation, Tyco will offer those property owners the option of a deep well to provide them with long-term good drinking water.
