As we approach the end of October, we have several updates to share on the progress of our remediation efforts.
The Town of Peshtigo Supervisors passed a Resolution to move forward with exploring Marinette as a source of drinking water.
After receiving inconclusive data on recent fish samples taken from three privately owned ponds within the site investigation area, we sent the results to a second laboratory for further analysis.
In addition, the Marinette City Council approved our proposed $1.3 million donation to buy equipment that will help the City to more easily and effectively dispose of its biosolids. We also donated 12,000 fire extinguishers to local families throughout Marinette, Menominee and Oconto Counties to help raise awareness on fire prevention throughout the community.
