In recent days, both Sen. Tammy Baldwin and the Wisconsin Speaker’s Task Force on Water Quality held meetings in Marinette. They spoke with and listened to local voices about the water issues facing our community.
We appreciate that these federal and state leaders took the time to conduct these meetings, and we are pleased to have had the opportunity to tell them about all of the work that we have accomplished and will continue to accomplish to address these issues. We also appreciate these additional opportunities to hear local residents’ concerns, so that we can address those concerns and continue to incorporate them into our planning.
We are committed to bringing clean, safe drinking water to the residents of Peshtigo Township. Meetings like these are critical parts of achieving this shared goal.
