We paused our community letters for the summer and have a number of updates to share. We completed the testing of wells near farmland where biosolids from the Marinette and Peshtigo Wastewater Treatment Facilities were spread. The results found that the significant majority of wells tested below the EPA’s health advisory level.
We also discuss news regarding the recent media coverage of an oil spill above our Ditch B treatment system, which came from a residential area and not from any Tyco operations, recent sampling results shared with the WDNR from Ditches A and B and Green Bay and the WDNR’s recent advisory regarding deer liver.
