Due to public health concerns associated with COVID-19, Tyco has informed the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) that it is suspending until April 13 private water well testing near 61 fields where biosolids from the Marinette City Wastewater Treatment facility have been spread. A determination to resume testing or continue the suspension will be made at that time. The testing of these wells began on March 2. The residents whose wells have already been tested, and the WDNR, will be informed of the results once they are completed. Where tests have been scheduled but not done, we are notifying residents of the suspension. We will resume testing as soon as possible. We apologize for the delay, but believe this is a prudent step to take at this time.
