10 graduating seniors at 4 area high schools receive a total of $20,000

Marinette, Wisconsin (May 24, 2022) — Tyco Fire Protection Products LP announced today that the company awarded $20,000 in scholarships to 10 graduating seniors from four area high schools –Marinette High School, Peshtigo High School, Menominee High School and St. Thomas Aquinas Academy.
“Tyco takes great pride in supporting the communities where our employees work and raise their families. We employ alumni from all these schools and one of them was able to present the scholarships at each school’s ceremony,” said Katie McGinty, Chief Sustainability Officer. “As a leading company in fire protection and suppression, we invest in graduates pursuing college or technical degrees within the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) disciplines who will be the future innovators in industries like ours.”

Thank you!” said Justine Braatz, principal of Marinette High School.

Marinette High School
- Stephen Marquardt will be attending University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse studying Physics and Engineering
- Keegan Polomis will be attending University of MN – Twin Cities studying Mathematics & Data Science
- Jacob Sommerfeldt will be attending Carroll University studying Computer Science
Peshtigo High School
- Alexander Fontaine, of Peshtigo, will be attending University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh studying Mathematics
- Emma Gilligan, of Pound, will be attending University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point studying Biology
- Salsabeel Salem, of Marinette, will be attending Case Western Reserve University studying Political Science/Biochemistry
Menominee High School
- Jacob Lindahl, of Menominee, will be attending Bay College of Escanaba studying Chemistry
- Marin Park, of Menominee, will be attending University of Michigan studying Biology/Theatre
- Brady Thoune, of Menominee, will be attending NWTC – Marinette studying Electromechanics
St. Thomas Aquinas Academy
- Blake DeDamos, of Marinette, will be attending Fox Valley Technical College and pursuing General Studies
