Tyco to Conduct Maintenance on Ditch B Treatment System

During the week of October 26, Tyco began maintenance on the tanks at the Ditch B treatment system. This work includes lining the tanks with another layer of protective coating for additional protection from corrosion.

In order to successfully complete this maintenance, our engineers will reduce the system’s operating capacity from 700 to 500 gallons per minute for approximately the next two-week period. Elevated PFAS levels in the surface water may result from this short-term capacity reduction. We will remain in regular contact with the WDNR and will test, and make public, results from our ongoing efforts.
